Biography - Claire Hendee

Claire Hendee is a composer and trumpet performer from Appleton, WI, who studies Trumpet Performance with Brent Turney at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point.

 

She started playing trumpet at the ripe age of 11, and has been dabbling in composition since her sophomore year of high school. She has taught both beginner trumpet and piano lessons.​ She has played in the university's Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, and Orchestra. After her undergraduate studies, Claire hopes to attend graduate school for composition and continue her trumpet performance studies, along with auditioning for various orchestras and military bands.
